Finished coat being worn by its proud owner.
This coat feature a 9 mode color changing collar with 32 addressable rgb leds and 160 white leds individually sewn down inside of the coat, 6 pockets, a cuddly soft lining, and lots of magic.
Here are the final 9 different light modes for the collar of a light up coat that I’ve been making. My husband Darcy is a programing wizard. I will post more pictures and video of the finished coat.
1st- dapple in orange and pink.
2nd- Orange and white color flow
3rd- Red, night mode- doesn’t kill your night vision.
4th- Rainbow color flow
5th- Cylon mode- battery saving.
6th- Blue/Greens color wipe.
7th- Strobe mode, because some nights are like that
8th- Pink and white color flow
9th- Full strand rainbow fade
This is a video of the test modes that will be inside of the collar for a large brightly colored fake fur jacket that I’m working on. My husband Darcy is a programing wizard. Its only 50 seconds long, and you get to see real pretty light effects.
Ginkgo Burn Barrel-by Hannah Pertalionhttp://huzzahtuesday.tumblr.com/
This is a 55 gallon steel drum that I cut up, welded back together, and then plasma cut some more. It was a lot of fun to make. This one was more of a practice go, and I’m making another one next week with some slight tweaking to the design.
I’ll be bringing one of these with me to Playa del Fuego, along with some other functional art.
These are magnets my husband and I made to battle though the “time and space” of all the other stuff stuck to the refrigerator, but they’re best on the little prince postcard a friend sent me.
I’ve posted this vehicle before but I just wanted to say “Hallelujah” for the Orange Blossom Express, which toured the monster truck circuit in the late 1980s and was built on a military APC platform. I think of this beast every time I hear the Johnny Cash song (for extra credit he recorded it once with Miss Piggy) and I think I’m gonna get a tattoo of it.
Free DIY Bookplates. Many different artists, sizes, genre, color, black and white etc… There is something for everyone. This is a great gift given with an acid free glue stick, or print them on sticker paper (although they are easier to remove - I think - using a glue stick). Found at My Home Library here. *Note: I’d print these on cardstock or heavier paper than just copier paper.
